”We have about $300m in files now, hoping to be upwards of $500m over the next month. Over the past 3 months we’ve been using it primarily on high end residential reconstruction estimating following the Palisades and Eaton fires in SoCal. Now that we’ve begun issuing reports and receiving feedback from our clients and the homeowners I have to say we’re impressed with the program. It’s proving to be accurate, we have numerous files where rebuild costs have come in with a variance of less than 10% - and since we don’t include contingency this is basically dead on. Even better we have 2 files that have come in at under 1% variance. We’ve been able to produce baseline estimates in under 15 minutes, then with having a set of plans, and a good understanding of the specific properties through either owner provided information, city records, or real estate listings. We’re able to refine and finalize the estimates in about 1-2 hours. Including exporting the data and putting it into our own template. It’s a massive timesaver compared to other systems we’ve used in the past.
